India’s “steel city” Jamshedpur has welcomed a frosty new attraction with the launch of its first indoor snow park, Snow Storm, which opened on 27 September on the second floor of PM Mall, Bistupur.

Designed to replicate the chill of Switzerland or Kashmir, the park offers temperatures as low as -10°C, bringing icy thrills right to the heart of the city.

Covering nearly 6,000 square feet, Snow Storm is a family-friendly entertainment hub catering to all age groups. Adventure seekers can enjoy snow slides and tubing tracks, while families and children will love the DJ dance rink, snow play zone, igloos, merry-go-rounds, and scenic photo spots.

Open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., the park provides jackets, gloves, and gumboots with every ticket. Socks are mandatory and available for purchase at the counter. Ticket prices are ₹450 for adults (over 137 cm), ₹400 for children (90–137 cm) and senior citizens (60+), and ₹200 for infants (under 90 cm), with 18% GST applicable.

Beyond snow-based fun, Snow Storm offers shopping and food options, making it a full-day destination.
