Darongshan Indoor Ski Resort Opens After Long Delay
It’s been announced that a Chinese indoor ski centre that was largely completed several years ago but until now has failed to open, will now do so June 28, 2025.
Darongshan Indoor Ski Resort is situated in the Gaoshan Dadong Scenic Area of Darongshan National Forest Park in Guangxi province. The resort is 40 kilometers or an hour’s drive away from Yulin, a city with a population of nearly 6 million.
The indoor ski resort covers a construction area of about 32,000 square meters, making it the largest in Guangxi, and comprises a Snow Play Zone, Skiing Area, and Leisure Commercial District.
The total length of the ski runs is 202 metres with runs including intermediate and beginner slopes. It’s able to accommodate 1,000 visitors simultaneously for various ice-snow recreational activities.
