New Indoor Snow Centre opens Close to Singapore

A new indoor snow centre has opened in Malaysia, very close to the island nation of Singapore.

SnowLand JB in Johor Bahru has opened on the Ground Floor of Mall of Medini just 30 minutes across the causeway from Singapore.

The new centre features ice slides, snow sculptures and real snow falling from its roof.

“SnowLand isn’t just for photo ops — it’s a full-on sub-zero playground where temperatures plunge to below -10°C, making it feel like you’ve stepped into a real winter wonderland. Visitors can race down icy slides of varying lengths, with mini ones for the kids and longer slopes for those looking for a thrill,” one reviewer wrote.

The ice sculptures include everything from glowing castles to familiar cartoon characters and there’s even a lounge made entirely of ice.

Other attractions include snow bumper cars, sledging and sections where artificial snowfall gently drifts down, completing the wintry atmosphere.

Rental jackets are provided with your ticket, and gloves, boots, and ear muffs are also available for rent.
